Day 1!

Okay, so we are sooooo tired! I got up at 3am, and everybody else around 3:30am so we could be at the airport for 4:15am!!   Good news: there is a Stella's restaurant at the airport which was a wonderful little breakfast! And the Starbucks helped too!

Boys on the plane from Edmonton to LA:

This is the first day they have ever been on a plane... Kurt was sitting next to them for their first excited reaction.

We got a car and drive to Oceanside, where we have a house we are renting.

We went grocery shopping right away, which is why we rented a house - so we can just have our own food when we want to relax.

Kurt made burgers, which we ate in the back yard... With no mosquitos...

I'm looking forward to the boys' mosquito-ridden legs getting back to normal... At least until we go back...

Then we went to take a peek at the beach:

They just went up to their knees for now... We will check it out again tomorrow, and this time we will swim too! In the meantime, it is time for us to sleep...
