Day 8, Disney Day 2!

T

So today we went BACK to the Disney area... But instead of going to the right to go to traditional Disneyland, we went LEFT to California Adventure

We all went to a short "Bug's Life" movie... These movies are so interactive! Got a little too real for some in our party!

The older guy pretty much immediately went on the California Screamin' rollercoaster with Kurt... 3 times... Because there was no line!  This was one of the times... That is Kurt and him in the front!

That is also the Ferris wheel which we all went on... Here is the view from the top:

Then the kids participated in a Phineas and Ferb Dance Party... So fun! I love that show... 

We had super amazing ice cream, then went on the Cars ride... 

So... We went to get lunch in a lovely little area... I saw a margerita stand... So great!

Then we all sat to eat and a mariachi band started in the distance... Even better... 

THEN THE BAND CAME TO SING RIGHT IN FRONT OF US!! So even more amazing!!

We went on a white water rafting ride... I thought this would be great to have just a bit of coolness from the spray... Yeah - I was DRENCHED! 

Off to see the Aladdin theatre show... Found some of The Incredibles on the way!'

Then went on an amazing simulation of flight over California !!

Moved on to a Muppet 3d movie.... So great! I love the Muppets!!

The boys saw/really wanted a turkey leg... Which was what they are 

A Pixar parade!!

Big boy went on California Screamin' again with Kurt...

There were other rides, and so many near things we passed by... Bands, guitar players, 

Watched Mad Hatter Tea Party at end... Now back at the beach house... A visit to Legoland again tomorrow!
