First weekend of summer!

We are currently driving back from the beach in the rain... It's also super windy... It's making it easy for us to leave, because we are about to go on a family trip to San Diego - a first for all of us! We will keep you up to date on our adventures throughout the trip!

Our weekend started beautifully! At 8:30 am I took the little one for a walk on the closest beach... 

Then when I came back, went to a couple other beaches with the older one until we found one where we wanted to swim...

... Not here...

Here!!

That was quite chilly, but lovely! I love that the boys love to walk the beaches, and be outside! The little one, on this drive home, just said that his favourite things in order are:

- spending time with family

- playing outside

- reading

- writing...

Awww!

On Saturday evening we had a fantastic meal and evening with great friends...
