Special weekend!

The annual fishing trip where K goes fishing with friends, only this time our big boy was big enough to go too! So my little one and I have been having treats and playing all over!

He also received a special Bible this morning as he is going up to Grade 1 Sunday School in fall... But there are other kids in the pic and I don't post pics of other people's children without consent... During Sunday School circle the leader asked if anyone had anything special to share... He said that he was having a special weekend with his mommy! 😍

After the waffles today, we bought a dream catcher, because he admires them... We were going to go to the museum after; but while we were eating he said he wanted to go home for a while and relax... It's been a busy weekend I guess! So we went to the sunroom and read all the books on the picture... He just kept choosing them off our shelves or book bins... At one point I said "you still interested in reading?" because I want to make sure he isn't just sitting there because of me and he answered "yep. I'm living he dream" which made me laugh. Then he added "...only it really is my dream... And it came true" Ahhh! My heart melts!
