Our little boy was saying things in French with me a few minutes ago... Eyes, nose, mouth... Then a couple of colours. I repeated rouge for him but he was done with saying things in French and kept saying "That is red"... But all of the sudden I noticed that he wasn't saying "wed" as he he usually does with words with the letter "r"... He was making a point of stopping on the "r" and saying "rrred". So stopped Kurt and the big boy from their reading to get them to notice... We were all so impressed! I wondered if someone worked on it with him... I asked if he figured it out on his own... He nodded... Then he said a word that had "r" at the end of the word and he didn't seem to be able to do that... He said big boy's name right for the first time... Then looked at me and said "Jennifer" with the "r" sound! So cute!
