BEGINNING of Halloween fun!

We have lots of fun events that we like to do in the fall! We had to miss one this year because we were out of town a lot: watching the geese at one of our lovely nature centres, Fort Whyte or Oak Hammock Marsh!

However, we DID go to our big boy's favourite: A-Maze-In-Corn! He LOVES jumping on the hay bales!



Fortunately he doesn't care about going through the maze yet because it was REALLY muddy and we weren't wearing boots! We'll have to remember that for next year! However, this year it didn't matter at all, what with all the other activities they have!





In this one, you may be deceived by how calm this picture is, but our little one's feet are not actually touching any surface, because HE feels he can defy gravity and constantly sets out to prove this. Because of these constant scientific experiments of his, we are actually very used to stopping him from learning how his experiments SHOULD fail 100% of the time until he is old enough to understand some principles of the natural world a bit better:
