First of the belly pics (sort of)

We are expecting our second baby, e.d.d. November 22nd 2006. Our big boy figured this out almost immediately. When I was only a few weeks pregnant, out of the blue he said "There's a baby in your tummy!" and continued to say this over a period of several days. Kurt and I couldn't figure it out because we were going to wait to tell him and talk to him about it because 40 weeks is a long time for a 3 year old to wait... so we just ended up going along with what he already seemed to have figured out!

Here, so far, is the only picture of the new baby to come... hard to see when I'm wearing a huge tent of a fleece, but just to let you know, it doesn't usually stick out THAT much haha!

He's so excited about the baby... he's always putting his head on my tummy or patting it and saying "I'm cuddling the baby" or "I'm patting the baby" and he carries a baby doll around with him, changing it and holding it while telling all of us to "shhhhh" because it's sleeping. As well, he's soooo interested in friends' babies, playing peek a boo with older ones, and making sure to by very gentle with tiny ones. Should be interesting to see what happens. He'll be 3 years and 9 months old when the baby is born.
